TALLAHASSEE – The latest
candidate to replace Sen. Nancy Argenziano, R-Dunnellon,
has already won her vote.
Rep. Charlie Dean, R-Inverness, announced his official
intent and Argenziano’s support on Tuesday …
Dean is the only one of the three GOP candidates who
lives in the district, which sprawls from Citrus and
Marion counties in the south through the rural counties
west and north of Gainesville to just outside
Jacksonville and Tallahassee in the north …
Argenziano said that … she wanted to make her support
for Dean public now.
“I would never presume to tell anybody who to vote for,
but I’d tell them who I’m going to vote for,” she said.
“In good conscience, the only one that I can say is more
representative of this district (and who) I feel will do
a better job is Charlie Dean.”
